The area around Ross Stream (the Allagash) probably receives as much snow as any area in the State of Maine. The trail into the camps is groomed for getting in supplies and dunnage (about a 6 mile snowmobile ride or x-country ski trek). Around camp we have several miles of groomed x-country ski trails (dragged only).
